Tshepiso Malebye founded the design house DBLAQTALIAN (pronounced ‘de-black-talian’) in 2016. Africa is his constant source of inspiration.

The name for the design house was born from his experience of growing up admiring the Italian design process, product placement and lifestyle. It inspired him to put together those fundamentals whilst bringing them together using an African perspective. He uses the richness of our continent as a backdrop and driving force.

Tshepiso holds a Higher Education qualification in Textile and Product Design from Tshwane University of Technology (T.U.T). His technique-driven expertise has embedded in him, a passion for paying attention to detail.
