Anushka Davida is a Cape Town-based textile designer and artist with a background in surface design, working to carve out a distinctive mark in both the textile and art industries. 

Inspired by nature, African culture, and raw emotion, she creates expressive, layered patterns that bring depth and movement to fabric, wallpaper, and homeware products. 

Her work blends intricate details, bold compositions, and rich textures — merging art and function to craft designs that feel both soulful and practical. With a love for digital painting, she works primarily in Photoshop, using overlays, dynamic colour palettes, and textured layers to transform hand-drawn sketches and organic forms into visually striking patterns. 

Collaborating locally and internationally with brands such as Halo Dishcovers, Spaza Store, and Jubilee Trading Co., she has specialized in creating art prints for homeware and interiors. Beyond textiles, her fine art practice explores storytelling through mixed media, collage, and mark-making — where traditional techniques meet contemporary design. 

At the heart of her work lies a passion for creating pieces that evoke emotion, celebrate African heritage, and bring beauty into everyday spaces.
