A-Z Workroom is a female-owned design studio based in South Africa, led by two designers who have been collaborating for nearly a decade. With six years of studio practice behind them, their work spans branding, illustration, print, and statement-making mural installations.

Their creative approach blends traditional drawing techniques with bold, whimsical digital design—resulting in work that’s both playful and refined. Each project is shaped by the fusion of their distinct visual languages, coming together to form unexpected, layered outcomes.

Rooted in a shared respect for experimentation and visual storytelling, A-Z Workroom is continuously inspired by the work of women in design and the possibilities of cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Ebb & Bloom is a collection shaped by contrast and cohesion—drawing on organic forms, quiet repetition, and the interplay between movement and pause. Ebb speaks to motion: the coral swaying with the pull of tidewater, the figures in Waltz drifting in and out of sync. These patterns capture the rhythm of retreat and return.

Bloom brings a quieter kind of transformation. The koi are suspended in calm fluidity, while the lilies hold their shape—open and poised. The collection visualises a study of balance: between motion and rest, structure and softness, play and precision.
