Bianca Black (b. 1972) is an emerging abstract artist based in Hoedspruit, South Africa. Her work fuses bold colour, layered texture, and interiors-inspired design with a deep appreciation for history, ancient petroglyphs, and tribal art. Drawing inspiration from the African bush and collaborations with local artisans, Bianca’s process moves fluidly between structured composition and playful spontaneity, inviting viewers to engage with each piece through a lens of childlike curiosity.

With over 20 years of experience in interior design, she brings a refined understanding of pattern, colour, and how people interact with their spaces. This background, combined with her artistic instincts, shapes a unique visual language that is both contemporary and deeply rooted in cultural storytelling.
