Victoria Egbejale is a multi-disciplinary creative based in Lagos Nigeria whose visual language sits at the crossroads of storytelling and surface design. Educated in Industrial Design with a focus on graphics, she spent years crafting campaigns for leading African brands—work that sharpened her instinct for narrative, rhythm, and bold composition.

Her work carves out a distinctive mark in the art and design industries. Inspired by the vibrant cultures encountered through travel and the rich legacy of African art, she creates layered, expressive patterns that infuse fabric, wallpaper, and homeware products with depth and movement.  Her patterns are layered, energetic, and unmistakably modern—yet they carry echoes of traditional African aesthetics. Working primarily in Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop, she blends hand‑drawn sketches with digital painting, pushing colour and movement until each design feels almost animated on fabric, wallpaper, or homeware.

Her work is an ode to storytelling, a celebration of African heritage, and a fusion of art and emotion designed to bring beauty into everyday life.

"Baba Dudu" is a visual embrace of the serene wisdom embedded within the ancient Yoruba culture of Nigeria, particularly through the lens of their dressing traditions where attire transcends mere fabric to become a profound expression of heritage and harmony.

 

Frequency of the gods

"Frequency of the Gods" tunes into the swift and clever spirit of Hermes. Created from the very essence of the messenger god – his boundless energy and the subtle wisdom of his caduceus. Each line and form within the design vibrates with his unique power as a communicator, traveler, and guide, inviting the viewer to tune into the divine frequencies that shaped myths and mortals alike.

The kids are alright

"The Kids Are Alright" captures the profound journey of young ones venturing forth from the embrace of home, their hearts brimming with a singular, unwavering purpose: to uplift and care for the parents who poured everything into them.

Each line speaks to the inner strength that allows them to navigate challenges, knowing that their parents' comfort remains their steadfast compass. Even when the path is arduous, their focus never wavers, embodying a love that transcends miles and hardship, ensuring that, indeed, the kids are always alright.
