Bio

Meet Melba Rihlamvu, also known as Mel_Idesign. She is a home and fashion textile designer based in Pretoria, South Africa and holds a National Diploma in Textile Design and Technology.

  Her inspiration comes from her unique surroundings. She uses the simplicity of shapes and structures ,moulding them into an art piece or design format.

Growing up she used to doodle using shapes, with special focus on the triangle. The numerous and countless forms, shapes and patterns got her so intrigued and that's when her real love for pattern designing grew and developed.
